The Government of Sabah, through the Sabah Maju Jaya Secretariat under the Chief Minister's Department, and Global Eco Rescue formalised a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Management of Sabah's Mangrove Ecosystem.
 

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment in strengthening conservation efforts, promoting sustainable management practices and safeguarding Sabah's mangrove ecosystems as vital natural assets that support biodiversity, climate resilience and the well-being of coastal communities.
